The monitoring system consists of a TBox central unit (see photo) installed on the machine which detects production and stopping data, and specific software which processes and presents the information.

The available software includes:

• JMonitor
  for monitoring preparatory machinery for spinning systems.
  
• JSpinning
  for monitoring ring spinning frames.
  
• JWeaving
  for monitoring weaving looms.
  
• JKnitting
  for monitoring circular knitting machinery.

These monitoring systems aid the department head in round-the-clock supervision of the plant.

• Identification of machines with the least output.
  
• Optimisation of maintenance procedures.

It only takes one minute to access data regarding the total production of the supervised machines: simply read the daily production report to check whether or not the output reflects the company standards and the relevant details.

Through various menus and reports, production can be checked accurately and at varying detail levels (shift, day, week, batch).

Details regarding the status of the machine (in production mode, stopped, switched off, in maintenance mode) are available at any time, even from remote positions. The report and the description of the various stops can be modified by the customer.

The most significant details that may be viewed and printed include:

• Display in a single screen of the current status of all the machines (machines operating, stopped, automatically coded stops, manually coded stops, machine switched off).
  
• Partial and total production of the batches for each machine by shift, day, week, etc.

Regular maintenance of the machine can be monitored with this system: each maintenance operation is matched to a timer which is zeroed once the maintenance operation has been completed. Maintenance operations that need to be carried out are highlighted in real time which allows for an improved management of the relevant personnel’s time.

Features of the TBox central unit, equipped with display screen and numeric keyboard:

• displays the production in progress (batch, partial and hourly output), machine status.
  
• monitors up to 6 automatic stops, through the respective unpowered relay inputs. Other stops can be entered through the keyboard using a code number from 0 to 99.
